Han Dong-hoon, the general election campaign committee chairman, stated during a campaign rally in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, that the social solidarity wage system proposed by Cho is "an attempt to cut the wages of people working in large corporations," adding, "That does not mean wages in small and medium-sized enterprises will increase."

Han said, "They exploited their children's admission scandals to take away opportunities from others and enjoyed everything Korea has to offer, and now they want to drain the youth generation's backbone," adding, "They will become rich by taking advantage of the system, while law-abiding citizens should just accept wage cuts."

Kim Si-gwan, spokesperson for the People’s Future election committee, said in a statement that "Although the guarantee of social rights was presented as the justification for building the 7th Republic, no one is unaware of the political conspiracy to specially pardon the crimes of 'Cho Kuk and Lee Jae-myung' behind it."

Kim added, "Cho also advocated for 'institutional devices that allow the removal of elected powers according to the will of the people,' which is a declaration of political retaliation and 'pitchfork politics' against South Korea, which uncovered his family's corruption."
