Legal tech company BHSN has obtained a patent for technology developed by combining its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI). This technology recognizes text within contract documents and supports digitization.
On the 4th, BHSN announced that it had acquired a patent for its 'Legal OCR (Optical Character Recognition)' technology, which supports contract extraction and digital storage. OCR is a technology that recognizes and extracts text data within optical-based images and is used for automatic translation, text analysis, keyword extraction, and document digitization.
The patented Legal OCR technology is integrated with BHSN’s proprietary Legal AI language model. It is specialized in understanding and digitizing contract documents that have unique forms and structures. Digitized contracts are automatically classified into clauses, articles, and key contract information through Legal AI technology and stored in a database. This allows for easy searching of necessary content, streamlining the contract review process and enhancing the productivity of departments handling contracts.
Founded in 2020, BHSN has provided its self-developed AI legal solutions to major domestic companies such as CJ CheilJedang and SK Telecom. In January, it launched the cloud-based all-in-one AI legal solution 'allibee' and is advancing a legal-specialized large language model (LLM), driving work innovation through AI.
