About 7,900 young people in the Gyeonggi region applied for the ‘Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program,’ which provides opportunities for career development and new challenges through overseas university study experiences.
According to Gyeonggi Province on the 4th, the province and the Gyeonggi Job Foundation recruited participants for the ‘Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program’ at nine overseas universities, including in the United States, from March 11 to April 1. A total of 7,971 people applied for 270 spots.
This year, the Gyeonggi Youth Ladder Program will offer 3 to 4 weeks of overseas study opportunities at nine universities in five countries: the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and China.
The Gyeonggi Job Foundation will conduct document screening from April 2 to 8, reviewing ‘Self-Development Plans’ and supporting documents for preferential candidates, selecting twice the number of recruits, and announce the interview candidates on April 9.
The personality test, introduced for the first time this year, will be conducted online from April 10 to 12 and will be used as reference material during the interview evaluation.
Gyeonggi Province will hold interviews from April 15 to 17 and announce the final participants on April 22.
Afterward, Gyeonggi Province will provide orientation and pre-education for participants in May and June, and overseas study will begin in July according to each university’s schedule.
