Lotte Construction will open the model house for ‘Jungang Park Lotte Castle Signature,’ the largest private park special project in Gwangju Metropolitan City, on the 5th and officially begin sales.
Located in Geumho-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju, ‘Jungang Park Lotte Castle Signature’ consists of a total of 2,772 households across 39 buildings ranging from 84 to 233㎡ in exclusive area, with 3 basement floors to 28 above-ground floors. It is divided into three blocks: ▲1BL (929 households) ▲2-1BL (915 households) ▲2-2BL (928 households).
The sales schedule for ‘Jungang Park Lotte Castle Signature’ starts with special supply on the 16th, followed by first priority subscription on the 17th, and second priority on the 18th.
The announcement of winners will be on the 24th for 1BL, the 25th for 2-2BL, and the 26th for 2-1BL, with official contracts taking place over three days from May 7th to 9th.
Notably, since the announcement dates for 1BL, 2-1BL, and 2-2BL differ, multiple subscriptions are possible, giving applicants three chances to apply on the subscription days, and couples can apply simultaneously.
However, if an applicant wins in a block with an earlier announcement date, the subscription for blocks with later announcement dates will be automatically canceled.
‘Jungang Park Lotte Castle Signature’ offers differentiated residential value as an apartment complex embracing a large lake park. The ‘Jungang Park 1 District’ located within the complex is the largest among the nine parks (10 districts) under the private park special project promoted by Gwangju Metropolitan City, covering an area of 2,435,516㎡. It spans Geumho-dong, Hwajeong-dong, and Pungam-dong in Seo-gu, Gwangju.
It consists of eight themed forests and eleven village forests, with spaces planned for urban camping sites, garden exhibitions, and more. Additionally, facilities such as an outdoor performance hall and lakeside beach will be constructed around Pungam Lake. Gwangju City plans to develop this area into a representative space for the region by conducting various cultural programs involving citizen participation.
High residential convenience is also expected. Around ‘Jungang Park Lotte Castle Signature,’ large-scale residential complexes are already established, with numerous commercial facilities across various industries.
Moreover, near ‘Jungang Park 1 District,’ Gwangju World Cup Stadium houses Lotte Outlet and Lotte Mart. The distance to Sangmu District, regarded as Gwangju’s central commercial area, is also close. For 1BL, various school districts such as Hwajeongnam Elementary, Seongjin Elementary, Hyogwang Middle, Chipyeong Middle, Gwangdeok Middle, and Gwangdeok High are located nearby, while near 2BL are Hwage Elementary, Unri Elementary, Gwangju Middle, Unri Middle, and Pungam High.
Transportation development benefits are also anticipated. Two stations for the first phase of Gwangju Subway Line 2 (scheduled for 2026) will be constructed near the complex. Once this line, connecting Gwangju Station to Gwangju City Hall, opens, access to major downtown areas in Gwangju will become much easier. Currently, fast vehicle movement is possible via the 2nd Ring Road and Sangmu-daero, and the distance to Seogwangju Station on the Gyeongjeon Line is also close.
Lotte Construction plans to apply world-class luxury finishing materials inside the complex. The kitchen will be furnished with Arclinea, one of the world’s top three kitchen furniture brands, as well as Nolte, the most famous kitchen brand in Germany, high-end kitchen brand Dada, and Dacor, recognized for excellent technology.
The bathrooms will be designed with KOHLER, a brand with 150 years of history, along with famous Italian brands Atlas Concorde and Stile.
To maximize the advantage of the view, a sky lounge will also be created, allowing residents to fully enjoy the view of Jungang Park right in front of the complex. In addition, facilities for various hobbies, including a luxury sauna, will be provided.
The total number of parking spaces reaches 5,358, creating an environment where about two vehicles can be parked per household. Among these, 1,960 spaces are planned as expanded types to conveniently accommodate large sedans and SUVs.
Furthermore, storage rooms in front of the entrance will be provided for storing leisure or seasonal items, maximizing the efficiency of living space. Additionally, a European eco-friendly playground, recognized worldwide for creativity and safety, will be established, expected to receive high praise from parents with young children.
Meanwhile, the move-in for ‘Jungang Park Lotte Castle Signature’ is scheduled for August 2027.
