Suseong Webtoon "Subsidiary Future High-Tech Supplying Test Boards"

Suseong Webtoon announced on the 4th that its semiconductor subsidiary Future Hightech is supplying test boards to Digital Frontier, a DI affiliate.

Future Hightech is a first-tier vendor of SK Hynix, incorporated as a subsidiary with Suseong Webtoon holding a 57% stake. For over 20 years, it has developed inspection equipment parts and boards for semiconductor front-end and back-end processes, supplying them to SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics partner companies. Its core products include high-speed burn-in boards, hybrid rubber sockets, and handler COKs. COK (Change Over Kit) is a type of tray that holds semiconductor chips.

Recently, Future Hightech has collaborated with Digital Frontier, a DI subsidiary, to develop inspection boards for DDR5 and NAND flash, and has been supplying these products since receiving approval from SK Hynix last year.

Kim Deokjin, CEO of Suseong Webtoon, said, "We acquired management rights in 2021 after seeing the growth potential of Future Hightech," adding, "Full-scale product supply will begin this year." He continued, "We are also developing inspection equipment for HBM, a newly developed product," and "Suseong Webtoon's logistics equipment business showed strong sales in the first quarter, so we expect good business performance."

Last year, Suseong Webtoon's management rights were transferred to Toomics Holdings, restructuring the ownership into a stable major shareholder. Its affiliates include Toomics, Future Hightech, and The Queen AMC.
