The 33rd Changnyeong County Residents Awards
The 16th Changnyeong Honorary Residents Selection
On the 3rd, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 4th that it successfully held the ‘31st Citizens' Day Ceremony’ at the Changnyeong Culture and Arts Center Grand Performance Hall.

The ceremony, which had not been held for five years due to COVID-19 and by-elections since 2019, began with congratulatory performances by local singer Gu Tae-jin and the five-member male vocal ensemble BOS.
The main event proceeded in the order of a report on the progress of Citizens' Day, viewing of a promotional video, the 33rd Changnyeong Citizens' Awards and the 16th Changnyeong Honorary Citizens Awards, certificate presentations, commemorative speeches, and congratulatory speeches.

The Changnyeong Citizens' Awards honored Jo Jeong-han in the volunteer category, Shin Yong-tae in the industry category, and Seong Wi-gyeong in the education and culture category.
Additionally, former Deputy Governors of Changnyeong-gun, Ahn Tae-myeong, Kim Myung-wook, and Jo Hyun-hong, were selected as honorary citizens of Changnyeong and received honorary citizen certificates.
Governor Seong Nak-in said, “It is an immense honor to gather in one place again after passing through the long tunnel of COVID-19 for five years,” and added, “I express my deep gratitude and respect to the citizens, the owners of Changnyeong-gun and the protagonists of today’s ‘Citizens' Day.’”
