Cheonan Wonseongcheon Cherry Blossom Road Bustling with Citizens under New Nighttime Scenery

Scenic Lighting Installed on the 0.7km Section from Wonseongje 2nd Bridge to Wonseong Bridge

Wonseongcheon, a representative cherry blossom path in Cheonan, Chungnam, is bustling with families and couples enjoying spring outings again this year.

The city completed the 'Wonseongcheon Cherry Blossom Path Nightscape Improvement Project,' installing landscape lighting along a 1.2km section of the Wonseongcheon promenade from Wonseong 2nd Bridge to Wondong Bridge to provide various attractions day and night in line with the cherry blossom blooming season.

Last year, as part of the nightscape improvement project, landscape lighting was installed along a 0.7km section from Wonseong 2nd Bridge to Wonseong Bridge, and this project expanded the installation area to offer more diverse attractions to a greater number of citizens.

An official from Cheonan City stated, “Since the overall social atmosphere is subdued, we aim to create a nighttime attraction that can brighten the hearts of citizens and develop Cheonan into a city with a uniquely beautiful nightscape.”
