PlantEM Signs MOU with Korea Magazine Association to Promote Electronic Magazine Industry

PlantEM announced on the 3rd that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Magazine Association to revitalize digital magazine content business and promote the domestic magazine industry.


PlantEM, a subsidiary of PlantNet, a KOSDAQ-listed security company, has been operating 'Mojin.com,' the largest electronic magazine platform in Korea, since 2007, providing digital magazine services to more than 250 universities, public, and corporate libraries.


Through this agreement, PlantEM and the Korea Magazine Association plan to support the digitization of diverse and excellent magazine content and the provision of subscription-based services, working together to advance the domestic magazine industry.


Meanwhile, PlantEM signed a business partnership agreement with the global digital magazine platform Zinio in 2015, enhancing accessibility to the latest overseas magazine content and providing differentiated electronic magazine services. In addition, it possesses total content and branding know-how, including in-store music services, digital signage solutions, and advertising curation.


Hwang Chang-yeon, CEO of PlantEM, emphasized, "Even as media changes, the professional insights and taste-oriented values that magazines hold will continue," adding, "We look forward to leading the digital innovation of the domestic magazine industry together with the Korea Magazine Association and providing readers with groundbreaking content experiences."
