The Korea Management Innovation Small and Medium Business Association (hereinafter referred to as the MainBiz Association) announced on the 3rd that it has signed a "Korea-China Exchange and Cooperation Agreement for Mutual Development of Small and Medium Enterprises" with Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, China.
Under this agreement, the Association and Huizhou City have decided to establish an exchange innovation platform within the hub-free zones at airports in both countries, and will consult with the governments and relevant administrative agencies of both nations. They also agreed to actively cooperate to strengthen business matching between SMEs of both countries as well as Korea-China economic cooperation and development.

Kim Myung-jin, Chairman of the MainBiz Association, stated, “If a hub-free zone for exchange innovation is established within the international airports of both countries through today’s agreement, it will facilitate smooth support for online and offline product exhibitions, inspections, and transactions between Korean and Chinese companies, thereby saving time and costs required for business matching.” He added, “In the future, we hope this hub zone will develop into a complex exchange space not only for product exhibitions and business matching but also for services such as finance, customs, medical testing, as well as international conventions and cultural events.”
The MainBiz Association operates the management innovation SME certification system and currently identifies and certifies approximately 23,000 management innovation SMEs. It is an SME economic organization with about 5,000 regular member companies and 96 branches nationwide (7 federations).
