Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do is accepting applications for the Forestry and Forest Public Direct Payment (hereinafter referred to as Forestry Direct Payment) until the 30th of this month.
According to the county on the 3rd, the Forestry Direct Payment is provided to forestry operators who have registered their forestry management units on mountain areas between April 1, 2019, and September 30, 2022, and who meet certain qualifications and comply with the required conditions.
Applications can be submitted by filing a registration form at the administrative welfare center where the mountain area is located.
Starting this year, online applications are also accepted through the ‘Forestry-in Integrated Portal’ website.
For more details, check the notices and announcements on the Jangseong-gun website or contact the county office’s Forestry and Cypress Division or the industry team at the town or township administrative welfare centers.
You can also use the telephone consultation center operated by the Korea Forest Service.
A county official said, “Please make sure to check the required documents and qualifications for the Forestry Direct Payment application in advance and submit your application within the deadline.”
