Third-party parties emphasized key pledges that reveal their party identity and launched a final campaign to win votes.
According to the ranking of party policies for the 22nd National Assembly election released by the National Election Commission on the 3rd, the Reform New Party selected the field of science and technology as policy number 1. Their top priority is job creation through the construction of the advanced industrial belt 'K-Neom City.' To this end, they plan to establish a 'Vice Minister of Science and Technology' and mandate the 'R&D project continuation funding system' to support the stable maintenance of R&D projects.
Policy number 2 is judicial reform. They aim to reduce the president's powers and strengthen the National Assembly's checks and balances through constitutional amendments. They will establish the 'Act on the Legal Status and Support of the President's Spouse' to define the legal status of the First Lady. Policy number 3 includes the Capital Market Advancement Act. To lay the foundation for the KOSPI 5000 and KOSDAQ 2000 era, it includes measures to reflect small shareholders' damages in the legal responsibilities of directors. Additionally, a 100% public tender offer of shares will be mandated upon acquisition of management rights.
The New Future Party emphasized △political, judicial, and media reform △economic finance △health, welfare, and labor. The party placed reform of the two-party monopoly system as policy number 1. They plan to reorganize into a decentralized presidential system and introduce a presidential runoff election system. They also intend to amend the parliamentary immunity and non-arrest privileges summarized in Articles 44 and 45 of the Constitution.
In the economic and financial sector, they focused on resolving the 'Korea Discount' (undervaluation of the Korean stock market). They plan to introduce a policy deliberation system every six months to allow advance prediction of financial policies. The introduction of cumulative voting for the election of directors of listed companies will also be mandated. Policy number 3 includes the revision of labor-related laws. They propose reducing the statutory working hours from the current 40 hours to 35 hours and extending statutory annual leave from 15 days to 25 days.
The Green Justice Party prioritized △climate △low birthrate △care. Their goal is to set responding to the climate crisis as the nation's top priority. They will promote free transportation by 2030 through the '10,000 won Climate Pass.' The second priority is overcoming the low birthrate. The party emphasized five core policies for low birthrate and pledged the '10 years + 10 years housing worry relief' policy. This means providing public housing and housing support funds for 10 years if living together and until the child turns 10 years old after birth. Thirdly, they will promote integrated lifelong care. They plan to mandate budgeting based on the 'National Quality of Life Index' instead of GDP.
The National Innovation Party has identified prosecutorial reform as a core policy since its founding. Policy number 1 clearly emphasizes the complete separation of investigation and prosecution to decentralize prosecutorial powers. They also plan to enact the so-called 'Lee Seon-gyun Act' to control human rights violations by prosecutors, police, and the media. Policy number 2 specifies the promotion of constitutional amendments for the 7th Republic. Specifically, they plan to reorganize the national power structure to maximize the reflection of popular will, reduce prosecutorial power, and strengthen control over judicial authority. They also highlighted energy policy. Through the '3080 Sunlight and Wind Policy' package, they aim to fundamentally shift the paradigm of climate energy policy. They plan to expand the share of renewable energy to 30% by 2030 and 80% by 2050.
