According to the IT industry on the 3rd, Kakao recently reorganized its managerial rank system, which was divided into five levels under the C-level executives such as the CEO?division heads, general managers, team leaders, part leaders, and cell leaders?into two levels: Performance Leader and Leader.


The simplification of the rank system aims to enable faster decision-making. By reducing the decision-making steps, the company intends to make key business decisions quickly and clearly, befitting a tech company. Another purpose of changing the rank system is to clarify responsibilities and authority by simplifying the organizational and positional structure.
