Yang Soyoung, the proportional representation candidate for Saeroun Mirae, expressed her determination to capture the votes of the 20s and 30s generation non-affiliated voters, stating, "Since the party name itself is future-oriented, we must unite with the new future generation. I believe we need to lead this generation to gain their votes."
On the 3rd, on MBC Radio's 'Kim Jong-bae's Focus,' Candidate Yang explained, "The 2030 non-affiliated voters are a generation that feels disgust and fatigue toward political conflicts." She added, "As a young person from a provincial area, I have left my hometown and am staying in the metropolitan area," and said, "I will focus on legislation that can create a country where ordinary young people want to work."
She continued, "Specifically, I want to improve labor conditions," and said, "Older generations say young people have high standards, but from what I see, many young people do not want to work because they feel low wages and unstable employment, which is a problem in the labor structure."
Regarding comparisons with the Joguk Innovation Party, she said, "It is inappropriate to mention other parties one by one," but added, "The support rate of the Joguk Innovation Party among the 20s and 30s generation is close to 0%." She continued, "The most important points for the 20s and 30s generation are fairness and common sense," and said, "In that regard, I expect Saeroun Mirae to be the choice of the 20s and 30s generation at the voting booths."
The Joguk Innovation Party support rate mentioned by Candidate Yang is based on a telephone survey conducted by Gallup Korea from the 12th to the 14th, randomly selecting wireless phone virtual numbers and interviewing 1,002 people aged 18 and over. In this survey, the Joguk Innovation Party's party support rate was 0% among those aged 18-29 and 3% among those in their 30s. Candidate Yang stated, "Currently, each party is showing very unreasonable behavior," and claimed, "Despite President Yoon Seok-yeol's tyranny and First Lady Kim Geon-hee's arrogant behavior, the People Power Party's support rate remains firm, and public opinion toward the main opposition party, which should judge the regime, is also perceived by the public with great distrust." He urged, "In this situation, the trustworthy new party is Saeroun Mirae," and asked for support, saying, "Please join and support Saeroun Mirae, the most rational party number 6 that inherits the spirit of former Presidents Kim Dae-jung and Roh Moo-hyun."
