Shinsegae Food announced that it will launch the 2024 season sales of 'Chushin水' bottled water and a new baseball cheering snack called 'Churrostick' in celebration of Landers Day, the largest shopping festival in the first half of the year for Shinsegae Group. Chushin水 is a bottled water developed through a collaboration between Shinsegae Food, SSG Landers, and baseball player Choo Shin-soo, with all sales proceeds dedicated to supporting youth baseball development. The product label includes the phrase "Water for Better Champion," reflecting the story behind the product and encouraging consumers to participate in supporting youth baseball players through their purchase. Churrostick is a bread stick inspired by a 30cm-long baseball bat. It features a crispy baked pastry coated with cinnamon syrup to replicate the taste of churros. Churrostick will be available for a limited time until the 14th at bakery stores inside E-Mart nationwide.

Shinsegae Duty Free is the first global retail channel to introduce the new product from the K-beauty brand Jung Saem Mool. The new 'New Classic Glaze Lipstick' features excellent moisturizing shine, smooth application, and a high-hardness formula that improves upon the smudging issues of the previous glow lipsticks. The signature shade 'Narcissism Pink,' also known as 'Hyori Pink,' is recommended by Jung Saem Mool’s exclusive model, singer Lee Hyori. The new product is available at all Shinsegae Duty Free stores, including the Myeongdong branch, both online and offline.


Kuksundang Launches 10-Year Aged Distilled Soju 'Ryeo 2013 本'

Kuksundang announced the release of its 10-year aged distilled soju, 'Ryeo 2013 本.' This product was developed in collaboration with Kuksundang and the agricultural corporation 'Kuksundang Yeoju Myeongju.' Kuksundang Yeoju Myeongju began its first distillation in 2013 after four years of preparation and over 50 distillation tests. The distilled soju base has been aged for 10 years before its debut. The new product is based on a traditional soju recipe for gamjeo (the old name for sweet potato) found in Joseon Dynasty literature, using fresh sweet potatoes harvested within seven days and Yeoju rice, along with native nuruk (fermentation starter). The company explains that the unique sweet yet deep and subtle flavor of sweet potato harmonizes with the umami and smoothness of rice, and the 10-year long aging stabilizes the quality, resulting in a refreshing finish. The alcohol content is 41.5%, and the volume is 500ml.

LF’s young golf culture brand 'Doubleflag' has collaborated with global character specialist Sanrio to launch a limited edition 'Cinnamoroll' collection. Considering the main consumer base of the Cinnamoroll character, the collection was released as women's golfwear items. The product lineup includes 18 items ranging from apparel such as sweatshirts, dresses, hooded vests, short-sleeve tees, and sweat jogger pants for spring and summer rounds, to accessories like trolley bags, mini bags, ball cases, driver covers, bucket hats, and crew socks. To capture Cinnamoroll’s bright and lovable vibe, the collection focuses on soft and bright colors such as sky blue, ivory, and pink. Additionally, casual items were selected as the main pieces to suit the character, and the designs feature semi-overfit and semi-crop fits preferred by MZ generation (Millennials + Gen Z) golfers.
