The success was anticipated. 'Pamyoh' earned $660,000 (about 900 million KRW) on its opening day, the 15th of last month. This is the highest opening revenue among Korean films ever released in Vietnam. Its first-week revenue was also substantial at $3.02 million (about 4 billion KRW).

The popularity is confirmed in other countries as well. In particular, in Indonesia, it attracted the largest audience (about 2.3 million) among Korean films ever released. It ranks second in Australia and third in Thailand.

'Pamyoh' will also be introduced in China. It has been invited to the Beijing International Film Festival, which opens on the 18th. Along with the Shanghai International Film Festival, it is one of the representative film events in China. A Showbox official said, "Considering that screenings of the latest Korean films at Chinese film festivals have been rare, this is unusual," adding, "It seems that the fresh subject matter and solid story were effective."

'Pamyoh' is an occult mystery film about strange incidents that happen to a geomancer, a mortician, and a shaman who exhumed a grave for a large sum of money. Directed by Jang Jae-hyun, it stars Choi Min-sik, Kim Go-eun, Yoo Hae-jin, and Lee Do-hyun. It was released domestically on February 22 and recorded a cumulative audience of 11,003,343 as of the 1st.
