Spring Flower Fragrance Fills the Air ... Creating Beautiful Streets

On the 2nd, Nae-i-dong in Miryang-si, Gyeongnam, planted 6,000 spring flowers (violas) along the main roads and flower beds in the city to herald the arrival of spring.

On this day, about 10 employees from the Nae-i-dong Administrative Welfare Center planted colorful violas at busy spots such as Sinchon Five-way Intersection, National Institute of Crop Science Intersection, and major roundabouts, creating streets filled with the fragrance of spring flowers in Nae-i-dong.

A resident of Nae-i-dong said, “Seeing the brightly colored spring flowers blooming along the roadside makes me feel that warm spring days have suddenly arrived, bringing a sense of calm to my heart.”

Kim Heon-cheol, head of Nae-i-dong, said, “With this spring flower planting, I hope residents can feel peace and happiness in their daily lives, and we will continue to strive to create a pleasant living environment in Nae-i-dong.”

Meanwhile, Nae-i-dong regularly conducts crackdowns on illegal dumping sites to create a beautiful Nae-i-dong street.
