[Polpol News] President Yoon's Approval Rating Drops for 5th Week... Realmeter Reports a 0.2%p Decrease to 36.3%

Party Approval Ratings: Democratic Party Rises, People Power Party Falls
Jogu Innovation Party Leads with 29.5%, Ahead of Deobureo Minju Yeonhap at 19.0%

President Yoon Suk-yeol's approval rating for his administration has declined for five consecutive weeks, recording in the mid-30% range.


According to a public opinion poll released on the 1st by Realmeter (conducted at the request of Energy Economy Newspaper from the 25th to the 29th of last month, targeting 2,509 voters aged 18 and over nationwide, with 97% mobile and 3% landline automated responses), President Yoon's approval rating dropped by 0.2 percentage points from the previous week to 36.3%. The disapproval rating rose by 0.6 percentage points to 60.7%.


Looking at individual polls, the approval rating was 37.0% on the last day of the previous poll, the 22nd of last month, but it fell to 35.2% in the survey conducted on the 29th, which is included in this poll.

In the party support poll (conducted by Realmeter at the request of Energy Economy Newspaper from the 28th to the 29th of last month, targeting 1,004 voters aged 18 and over nationwide, with 97% mobile and 3% landline automated responses), the Democratic Party's support rose by 0.3 percentage points to 43.1%, while the People Power Party dropped by 1.7 percentage points to 35.4%. Following were the Reform New Party at 4.5%, New Future at 3.6%, and Green Justice Party at 1.4%.


For proportional representation parties, the People Power Party’s satellite party, People’s Future, increased by 0.4 percentage points to 30.2%, the Innovation Party rose by 1.8 percentage points to 29.5%, and the Democratic Party’s opposition satellite party, the Together Democratic Union, fell by 1.1 percentage points to 19.0%.
