The presentation was delivered by Dr. Clara Santos, a dermatologist from Brazil, and Dr. Mark Holmes, an aesthetic plastic surgeon from the United Kingdom, who shared the product’s unique features and procedural know-how confirmed through Croquis procedure cases.
Dr. Santos, who presented first, spoke on the topic of ‘Fat Redistribution of the Neck and Face Using Croquis,’ discussing the appropriate procedures based on patient condition and treatment area, as well as the characteristics of the four types of Croquis products. Following this, Dr. Holmes shared his 12 years of clinical experience under the theme ‘How to Safely and Effectively Extend the Lifting Duration of Croquis,’ covering product selection and procedural methods to prolong lifting effects, comparative analysis techniques for continuous improvement of results, and know-how to reduce complications and side effects.
Croquis is a biodegradable lifting thread that naturally decomposes in the human body after a certain period. It was developed by integrating Samyang Holdings’ technology, which holds global competitiveness in the field of biodegradable suture yarns. Sales contracts have been secured in 29 countries worldwide, including Europe and Japan, and approval procedures are underway in the United States.
At this conference, Samyang Holdings also opened an exhibition booth to promote Lapullen, a filler incorporating patented technology. Lapullen’s main component is polycaprolactone (PCL), a medical biodegradable polymer, characterized by maintaining procedural effects for over two years, with minimal foreign body sensation and natural volume enhancement.
Lee Young-jun, CEO of Samyang Holdings, stated, “Recently, the excellence and safety of Croquis and Lapullen have been proven at numerous international academic conferences, significantly increasing interest in these two products. Through various research and clinical cases, we will gradually expand our presence in the global aesthetic plastic surgery market.”
