San-eun Announces Intention to Relocate to Busan and Rebuild Sajik Stadium
Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, visited Busan on the 1st and announced pledges for small business owners and self-employed individuals.
At Sasang Station in Sasang District, Busan, Chairman Han said, "Politics must take more bold actions to support small business owners and fellow citizens," adding, "We will raise the threshold for applying simplified VAT taxation from an annual sales of 80 million won to 200 million won." He continued, "Although the President announced in February that the threshold would be raised to 104 million won, I believe it should be boldly increased to 200 million won."
He further emphasized, "To achieve this, amendments to the VAT tax law are necessary," and stated, "We will win this general election and raise the threshold to 200 million won."
Chairman Han also declared, "Among those who received loss compensation, some were notified to return support funds due to calculation errors," and pledged, "We will promote the postponement of the recovery of loss compensation support funds and long-term installment payments."
Additionally, he said, "We will introduce a parental leave system for self-employed individuals who need to continue running their businesses and livelihoods while their children require care," and urged, "I propose this to Representative Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party. Let us not delay this and handle it in the 21st National Assembly."
Chairman Han also expressed his commitment to relocating the Korea Development Bank to Busan, the early completion of Gadeokdo New Airport, and the reconstruction of Sajik Baseball Stadium, appealing for support.
