At the fashion show, 30 outfits created by designer Lee Ji-seon of the contemporary women’s wear brand ‘Tripleroot’ and 30 outfits produced by students from the College of Art and Design will be unveiled. The student works (outfits) to be revealed at this event are characterized by the fusion of Oriental painting, Western painting, visual design, and textile design.

The Department of Textile and Fashion Design has been enhancing students’ practical design skills by conducting major education that integrates multiple fields of study with clothing design.

In addition to professional models from Elite Model Agency, Mokwon University students will also participate as models in the fashion show.

Mokwon University planned the fashion show with experts to boost the capabilities of students aspiring to become designers and models and to provide cultural and artistic enjoyment opportunities to local residents.

The fashion show was prepared as a joint event hosted by Mokwon University’s College of Art and Design and Elite Model Agency (EMA), with support from Mokwon University’s University Innovation Team.

Kim Sung-min, Dean of the College of Art and Design at Mokwon University, said, “We expect the fashion show to be an opportunity to confirm the achievements of the convergence education at the College of Art and Design.” He added, “Mokwon University will continue to enhance students’ creative ideas and capabilities through convergence education and will consistently hold cultural and artistic events in collaboration with the local community.”
