Korea Investment & Securities, Open API Domestic Stock Trading Event

Korea Financial Group subsidiary Korea Investment & Securities announced on the 1st that it will hold the OpenAPI Stock Trading Event Season 3 for Bankis customers until May 31.

This event provides investment support funds when trading domestic stocks using Korea Investment & Securities' OpenAPI platform 'KIS Developers'.


Every week, if the KOSPI·KOSDAQ trading amount is confirmed to be over 100 million KRW, 10,000 KRW will be paid; over 1 billion KRW, 50,000 KRW; over 5 billion KRW, 300,000 KRW; over 10 billion KRW, 500,000 KRW; and over 30 billion KRW, 1,000,000 KRW will be paid. The maximum investment support fund available during the 9-week event period is 9 million KRW, enhancing benefits compared to previous events.


OpenAPI refers to a publicly available program interface that allows users to implement their own strategies such as algorithms and quants into automated trading programs. Korea Investment & Securities provides various trading services through OpenAPI, including checking domestic and international stock and derivatives prices, account inquiries, and trade orders via its self-developed developer center, KIS Developers.


KIS Developers offers detailed explanations and examples for each function. Individual inquiries are also possible, making it easy for general customers who are not professional developers to use. Additionally, more than 200 new APIs will be added by the end of May, including real-time quotes and investor trends, based on customer requests.
