Hyundai Card Unveils New Slogan: "Standardizing Complex Benefits into 5 Steps"

'Architect of Change' Released
"Easily Choose and Conveniently Use Credit Cards"

Hyundai Card announced on the 1st that it will unveil a new slogan, "Architect of Change," meaning "designer of change," and reorganize its product system.


Hyundai Card decided to pursue this product reorganization to resolve the inconveniences customers face due to the complex benefit structures, complicated usage conditions, and ineffective services in the existing card market. A Hyundai Card representative said, "We plan to simplify and organize the complex credit card services and benefits in a clear and intuitive way and introduce a unified system across all cards," adding, "This will allow customers to easily choose and conveniently use credit cards."


Hyundai Card will restructure its portfolio and standardize the benefit structure of its products into five levels. The flagship Hyundai Card M will be simplified from three types to two, and Hyundai Card X from three types to one. The benefits of each product have been differentiated. The benefit structure of all products will be standardized into five levels: basic benefits, additional benefits, annual bonuses, high-performance bonuses, and preferential services, making it easier for consumers to compare and choose between products.


The previously complex point accumulation system will also be simplified. Hyundai Card M, which had a complicated accumulation rate segmented into 15 categories, will now offer a basic 1.5% M Points accumulation regardless of industry or usage amount, and 5% accumulation in frequently used areas after the COVID-19 endemic phase. Additionally, new supplementary services requested by customers, such as the M·X emergency accumulation service that allows customers to receive points or cashback first when needed and repay slowly later, have been added to enhance user convenience.


A Hyundai Card representative stated, "'Architect of Change' is a slogan that represents Hyundai Card's attitude and philosophy of designing change and creating new rules and areas in the credit card market," and added, "The product system reorganization will also help resolve existing problems in the card market and assist consumers in choosing and using credit cards more easily and comfortably."
