Introducing 'AI Spam Marking' and 'Business Contact' Features
SK Telecom announced on the 1st that it will expand the ‘A.Dot’ artificial intelligence (AI) features such as recording, summarization, and interpretation from the existing iOS to Android.
Accordingly, the ‘Call Summary’ service previously provided in the A.Dot Android version will be changed to a phone service for SKT users. SKT users can use the service by newly subscribing to the A.Dot phone service, while users of other carriers cannot use the phone service but can continue to use the existing ‘Call Summary’ service.
For corporations, if the corporate phone is personally authenticated, they can subscribe to A.Dot Phone and use features such as call recording and summarization, AI suggestions, and interpretation calls.
The ‘AI Spam Indicator’ feature also enhances user protection. This feature displays spam levels (Phishing Warning, Spam Warning, Suspected Spam) when a call comes from an unknown number, helping users easily identify spam calls. In particular, AI spam prediction is based on spam scores predicted by detecting abnormal patterns of numbers in real time every day through SKT’s AI spam detection system.
The ‘Biz Contacts’ feature allows users to look up company phone numbers not saved in their contacts. This feature enables easy lookup of company phone numbers not saved in the user’s contacts through business name search, and is available on both iPhone and Android, but only for SKT subscribers. Company information registered in ‘Biz Contacts’ can be viewed in contact searches, incoming/outgoing call screens, and call history.
Kim Yong-hoon, head of SKT AI Service Division, said, "Through this update, we will be able to significantly enhance the user experience of the A.Dot phone service," adding, "We will continue to introduce services that provide new value to customers by utilizing AI technology."
