Korea Kolmar Holdings Changes Name to Kolmar Holdings: "Beyond Korea to the World"

Resolution on Company Name Change Approved at Last Month's General Meeting on the 29th

KOLMAR Holdings, the holding company of the Kolmar Group, announced on the 1st that it will change its company name to Kolmar Holdings.

On the 29th of last month, KOLMAR Holdings held a shareholders' meeting and passed a resolution to change its name from KOLMAR Holdings to Kolmar Holdings. The English name will be represented as ‘KOLMAR HOLDINGS CO., LTD.’

This name change reflects the intention to establish a unified brand identity. It carries the meaning of expansion, leading Kolmar beyond Korea to the global stage. Kolmar Holdings aims to lead its affiliates engaged in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and health functional foods businesses under the Kolmar brand umbrella.

In 2022, Kolmar Holdings acquired 100% of the global trademark rights for 'KOLMAR' from Kolmar USA, the original Kolmar company. After securing exclusive rights to the brand, it is accelerating its entry into the global market.

Kolmar Holdings plans to not only establish additional overseas bases in the North American market but also expand its beauty, pharmaceutical, and health functional food sectors into new markets such as Europe and Asia. It also plans to intensively invest in future core areas to discover new growth engines.

A Kolmar Holdings representative said, “This name change is not simply about removing the word ‘Korea’ but signifies the expansion of our global business scope,” adding, “Centered on Kolmar Holdings, we will demonstrate leadership in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and health functional food industries in the global market.”
