LabGenomics announced on the 1st that it will participate in the Human Genome Meeting (HGM) 2024, held in Rome, Italy, from the 8th to the 10th (local time).
HGM is a global annual conference organized by the Human Genome Organization (HUGO). Through various programs such as symposiums and workshops for genome researchers and companies, it shares the latest research trends and results.
At the event, LabGenomics will introduce Whole Exome Sequencing (WES), Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS), diagnostic products, and Research Use Only (RUO) reagents services. One of the main topics of this conference, the rapidly growing microbiome service in overseas markets, will also be showcased.
Through this participation, it is expected to open global distribution channels for microbiome products such as the female genital microbiome test "PinkBiome" and the oral microbiome test "BioOralCare." The company also expects this to be an opportunity to enhance corporate image and brand value, as well as strengthen its position in NGS (Next-Generation Sequencing) technology.
A LabGenomics official stated, "With the acquisition of CLIA Lab, corporate branding in overseas markets is being actively strengthened, and we will seek various cooperation opportunities through participation in this event." He added, "Based on active partnering with related companies and researchers, we will contribute to the further advancement of genome research."
Meanwhile, LabGenomics completed networking with various global companies at Medlab, the largest diagnostic and medical device exhibition in the Middle East, held last February. Through this, they are discussing national projects and linked product supply with Sahoury, a Jordanian company with over 30 years of experience. They also signed a successful supply contract with Mrcheveli Medical Center, which is a member of LIMBACH Diagnostics, a German medical testing institution.
