The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is promoting the activation of public interest reporting to create a clean and responsible educational environment in Gyeonggi.
On the 1st, the Office announced that it produced a promotional video on its own and made some improvements to the Public Interest Reporting Center to activate public interest reporting.
From July last year to January this year, the Office independently produced a promotional video titled "DO IT NOW."

With the subtitle "Public Interest Reporting Changes the World," the video encourages those hesitant to report public interest violations such as improper solicitations, bribery, and unfair gains to have the courage to change the world by making a public interest report.
The Office plans to use this material as promotional content for public interest reporting across all affiliated institutions, including the main office, education support offices, directly affiliated organizations, and schools.
The promotional video is uploaded on the Office’s YouTube channel, and it can also be accessed by selecting the related image on the Public Interest Reporting Center page on the Office’s website.
The Office also made some improvements to the Public Interest Reporting Center on its website.
To address issues such as user inconvenience, key information including reporting methods and report contents was organized, and additional interest information such as reward payment records was added to make user access and information acquisition easier.
Jung Jin-min, Auditor of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, stated, "No matter how well-established a system is, it is meaningless if it does not bring about changes in interest and awareness," and added, "We hope that the purpose of public interest reporting and the protection and support system for whistleblowers will be widely known and that everyone will participate in creating a clean and responsible educational environment in Gyeonggi."
