Launch of 5 New UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitors
Certified Switching Between High Refresh Rate Mode and High Resolution Mode
First Application of 'Pixel Sound Technology'
LG Electronics introduces the 'LG UltraGearTM' gaming monitor that allows users to enjoy optimized picture quality according to the content.
On the 1st, LG Electronics announced the launch of five new 'LG UltraGear OLED Gaming Monitors' (32GS95UE, 39·34·27GS95QE, 45GS96QB).
The 32GS95UE is the world's first monitor to receive VESA certification for its 'Dual Mode,' which allows switching between high refresh rate mode (FHD·480Hz) and high resolution mode (4K·240Hz) on a single monitor. By pressing a dedicated button at the bottom of the monitor, users can easily switch between high refresh rate and high resolution modes. This product is the first LG monitor to apply 'Pixel Sound Technology,' where a film component applied to the panel vibrates to produce sound. Unlike monitors combined with side or rear speakers, it emits sound directly from the display towards the user in front of the screen, resulting in clearer audio.

The 32-inch 4K (3840×2160) OLED panel features AGLR (Anti-Glare & Low-Reflection) to reduce light reflection. It supports a maximum 0.03ms GTG (Gray to Gray) response time, delivering smooth and clear fast-paced gaming visuals. It also supports various gaming convenience features such as 'VESA Adaptive Sync' technology that synchronizes the refresh rate of the graphics card and monitor, G-SYNC Compatible, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
Two curved OLED gaming monitors (34·39GS95QE) are also introduced. With an 800R curvature (degree of bend of a circle with an 800mm radius), WQHD (3440×1440) resolution, and a 21:9 aspect ratio, users can view the entire screen at a glance even on a desk with a close viewing distance. These models previously won the 'iF Design Award 2024,' recognized for their outstanding design that enhances gaming immersion. Additionally, a 45-inch curved OLED monitor (45GS96QB) and a 27-inch OLED monitor (27GS95QE) will also be released.
LG Electronics will sequentially launch the five new products starting with a live broadcast on its domestic online brand shop on the 8th. The suggested retail prices are ▲32GS95UE 1,990,000 KRW ▲27GS95QE 1,490,000 KRW ▲34GS95QE 1,890,000 KRW ▲39GS95QE 2,490,000 KRW ▲45GS96QB 2,590,000 KRW.
According to market research firm IDC, the global gaming monitor market (with refresh rates of 144Hz or higher) grew from approximately $2.43 billion (about 3.25 trillion KRW) in 2019 to about $5.87 billion (about 8 trillion KRW) last year, with an average annual growth rate of around 20%.
