Lee Jae-myung: "The ruling party's crocodile tears... We must not be deceived this time"

Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, stated on the 31st that "the tears of a crocodile, we must not be deceived this time" regarding the People Power Party.

On the same day, in a YouTube broadcast, Lee said, "They are terrifying people who will do anything to deceive the people and gain votes in the election."

He criticized, "It seems that the People Power Party and the government side are now starting a full-scale pleading operation," and "(from the People Power Party) there are even talks about a crushing defeat, but it all seems like an exaggeration."

He added, "They have said countless times that they reflect and admit their mistakes, but they have never changed even once," emphasizing, "They really seem to have no pride. We must not be deceived."

Lee pointed out, "It is bad enough if they become corrupt with the power given to them or do such things, but even so, directly deceiving the people openly is truly unforgivable."

He continued, "We must not be deceived. The ones who are truly desperate are us," and said, "If they gain a majority or become the first party in the National Assembly, this country will be uncontrollable. Instead of judgment, it will be like giving them wings."
