Roughened Han Dong-hoon: "Listen to Lee Jae-myung's Trashy Words"

Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, on the 30th sharply criticized the Democratic Party candidates embroiled in real estate scandals and controversial remarks, as well as the response of party leader Lee Jae-myung, calling their words "trash-like remarks."

At a campaign rally in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, that morning, Chairman Han launched a relentless offensive against Democratic Party candidates Yang Moon-seok (Ansan Gap), who faced allegations of illicit loans, and Kim Jun-hyuk (Suwonjeong), who was embroiled in controversy over derogatory remarks about former President Park Chung-hee and military comfort women.

Targeting candidate Yang, he criticized, "These people are always like this. They tell decent citizens like us to obey the law and endure all hardships, yet behind our backs, they always act like this."

Regarding candidate Kim, he said, "He even talked about elementary school students as sexual objects and used comfort women grandmothers as an analogy for that," adding, "Are such trash-like remarks something our society can tolerate?" He then directly attacked, "Leader Lee Jae-myung will not discipline this person either. Isn't he worse himself? Listen to what Lee Jae-myung said about his own sister-in-law."

He continued, "The trash-like remarks of Kim Jun-hyuk and Lee Jae-myung are exactly the philosophy they hold in their minds and intend to implement politically when they seize power and rule over you."

Chairman Han asked, "Back during the Channel A incident, when I was under attack, listen to the recordings. Even if I spoke somewhat harshly, were there any thoughts or words that deviated from your standards and beliefs?" He added, "If I am found to have done wrong, I will apologize and reflect. And if it goes beyond your level of acceptance, I will quit politics and step down."

He then reiterated, "Please listen to the trash-like remarks made by Lee Jae-myung, Kim Jun-hyuk, and Yang Moon-seok, even if they are really uncomfortable. People who say things that trigger 'beep sounds' should not enter politics."

Regarding Cho Kuk, leader of the Cho Kuk Innovation Party, he said, "The investigation into Leader Cho's family was not excessively harsh; rather, there were more parts that could not be properly investigated due to pressure from the then-power, the Moon Jae-in government," and questioned, "They claim to have been severely persecuted, but did their assets decrease? They still have assets exceeding 5 billion won. They have more than I do. Yet they are not repaying the national debt. Why don't they hand over the Woongdong Academy?"
