Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation to Host Automobile Tuning Association Meeting on 29th... Discussing Development Plans for the Tuning Industry

The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation held the ‘2024 Gyeonggi Automobile Tuning Council’ to discuss the activation of public-private-academic cooperation in the automobile tuning sector in the Gyeonggi region, continuing various discussions for the development of the automobile tuning industry and job support.

On the 29th, the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation announced on the 30th that it held a council meeting at the Convergence Talent Headquarters with the Korea Automobile Tuning Association, Ajou Automobile University, Hwaseong Industrial Promotion Agency, Gyeonggi Small and Medium Venture Business Federation, Inpyeong Automobile High School, Dohasi Shaju Co., Ltd., and SR Academy.

At the council meeting, they discussed ways to promote public-private-academic cooperation in the automobile tuning field, activation plans for the ‘Eureka (U來Car)’ specialized Makerspace lab designated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups operated by the foundation, and support plans for programs reflecting regional characteristics.

Based on the discussions at this council meeting, the foundation will conduct 13 automobile tuning-related programs at ‘Eureka (U來Car)’ this year.

Kim Sun-young, head of the Convergence Talent Headquarters at the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "Based on the various opinions shared through the council, we will do our utmost to contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the automobile tuning industry and stabilizing jobs in the province through public-private-academic collaboration."

Meanwhile, the foundation is recruiting participants for a one-day special lecture on automobile tuning job experience until the 2nd of next month, and for a regular free education course on automobile wrapping employment and entrepreneurship until the 19th of next month.
