The professors who expressed their intention to resign criticized the government's uncompromising stance and reportedly decided to proceed with collective resignation due to concerns about a potential collapse of medical education in the future. At other medical schools in Incheon, such as Gachon University, collective resignation movements among professors have not yet surfaced. An Inha University official said, "No resignation letters have been officially submitted to the university yet."

Medical school professors nationwide have begun submitting collective resignation letters since the 25th in protest against the government's plan to increase medical school admissions. After submitting their resignation letters, they have announced plans to reduce working hours and minimize outpatient care to focus on treating severe and emergency patients.
