'My Choice Commission Plan' Also Launched
Selectable Between Reward and Lowest Price Plans
Korbit, the first virtual asset exchange in Korea, announced on the 29th that it will introduce a new trading fee policy starting at midnight on the 1st of next month.
Korbit ended its fee-free policy this month and switched to a paid model, but it is now revamping its fee policy once again.
The new fee policy focuses on two key points. First, virtual asset trading is now possible at the lowest domestic fee rate of 0.05% (based on the lowest price plan). Additionally, a new ‘Choose Your Own Fee Plan Service’ has been introduced, allowing users to select a fee rate that suits their trading style.
In the Choose Your Own Fee Plan, customers can select a fee structure that fits their trading pattern between the ‘Reward Plan’ and the ‘Lowest Price Plan.’ If you prefer to place orders and wait for execution at your desired price or want to receive additional benefits, the Reward Plan is recommended. Under the Reward Plan, maker orders that are not immediately executed are free of trading fees, and customers even receive an incentive of 0.01% of the transaction amount. However, taker orders that are executed immediately incur a 0.15% fee.
For customers who always prioritize the lowest fee rate, the Lowest Price Plan is recommended. Under this plan, both maker and taker orders are charged the lowest domestic trading fee rate of 0.05%.
Sejin Oh, CEO of Korbit, stated, “With the newly introduced fee selection service, customers can choose a reasonable fee structure that fits their trading style, which we expect will enhance trading convenience. Korbit will continue to focus on improving user-centered services and innovation to increase customer satisfaction.”
Meanwhile, to celebrate the launch of the fee plans, Korbit will hold Season 2 of the Practical Investment League event starting from the 1st of next month, with a maximum monthly prize of 25 million KRW. Detailed information about the Choose Your Own Fee Plan Service and Practical Investment League Season 2 can be found on the Korbit website and app.
