Ahead of the April 10 general election, a public opinion poll showed that support for the People Power Party has risen, while support for the Democratic Party has declined. Regarding the general election, there was also an increase in the opinion that the ruling party should become the majority, indicating a consolidation of ruling party supporters.

According to a Gallup Korea poll conducted from the 26th to the 28th (a 100% telephone interviewer survey of 1,001 people aged 18 and over nationwide using mobile phones), support for the People Power Party rose by 3 percentage points from the previous week to 37%, while support for the Democratic Party fell by 4 percentage points to 29%. The Justice Innovation Party received 12%, the Reform Innovation Party 3%, the Green Justice Party and New Future each 1%, and the undecided group was 17%.

Gallup explained, "The Democratic Party's support dropped by 4 percentage points compared to last week, while the Justice Innovation Party rose by the same amount, showing a shift within the opposition camp."

Regarding the general election results, 40% of respondents believed the ruling party should win a majority, while 49% believed the opposition should win a majority. Compared to last week's survey, the opinion supporting regime stability increased by 4 percentage points, whereas those agreeing with regime control or regime judgment decreased by 2 percentage points.

In terms of proportional representation party support, the People Power Party's satellite party, People Power Future, received 34%, the Democratic Party's opposition satellite party, the Democratic Union, received 22%, and the Justice Innovation Party received 22%.

President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating for his administration stood at 34%, unchanged from last week's survey. Negative evaluations also remained steady at 58%.
