Cheonan City Supports Employment Certification Exam Fees... Up to Twice a Year

National Technical Certifications, National Professional Certifications, Language Exams, and More

Cheonan City, Chungnam Province, announced on the 29th that it will implement the "2024 First Half Employment Certification Acquisition Support Project."

This project, aimed at alleviating the financial burden of unemployed job seekers and promoting employment competency development, supports the fees for national technical certifications (545 types), national professional certifications (248 types), nationally accredited private certifications (96 types), language tests (19 types), and the Korean History Proficiency Test starting this year.

Support is provided up to 50,000 KRW per person based on the actual exam fee paid, up to twice a year, and is given via the Cheonan Love Card, a local gift certificate.

Applicants must be unemployed as of the exam date, reside in Cheonan City according to their resident registration as of the application date, and be citizens aged 19 to 64.
