Inviting Hospital Occupational Therapists, Teaching Like in Real Practice
Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) invited Jang Tae-yong, an occupational therapist from Hallym University Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital, to conduct the 'Anatomy Industry-Academia Convergence Lecture.'
This lecture, aimed at first-year students of the Department of Occupational Therapy (Department Head Jo Mi-rim), was a case-centered special lecture on the practical application of anatomical knowledge in clinical settings. It provided an opportunity to connect theory with hospital practice.
The Department of Occupational Therapy at Dongmyung University is holding an 'Anatomy Industry-Academia Convergence Lecture' for new students.
Department Head Jo Mi-rim said, "This is a valuable opportunity to directly show students the importance of anatomical knowledge used in actual clinical settings," adding, "We will make multifaceted efforts to help enrolled students improve their field-oriented practical skills."
Professor Jo Seung-hyun of the department stated, "Students were able to learn through concrete cases applying anatomical knowledge learned in the classroom to real clinical settings," and added, "The industry-academia convergence lecture greatly helps students experience the vividness of hospital sites and build the foundation necessary for patient care."
