A man who suspected his wife of having an affair and killed her has been arrested and is under investigation by the police.
According to the Yangsan Police Station in Gyeongnam, Mr. A, in his 50s, was arrested on charges of stabbing and killing his wife, Ms. B, in her 20s, who was sleeping in an apartment in Yangsan City around 1 a.m. on the 26th.
It was revealed that Mr. A committed the crime out of suspicion of Ms. B's infidelity and confessed after reporting to the police following the incident.
Ms. B is originally from Vietnam and is known to have married Mr. A several years ago, acquiring Korean nationality.
The police have applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A and are investigating the exact motive behind the crime.
