Naju City in Jeollanam-do announced on the 28th that it will operate a pottery experience program for pregnant women in the area.
The pottery experience program for pregnant women will be held a total of six times every Wednesday from April 20 to May 22 at the Bitgaram-dong workshop Assembly G.
The program consists of ▲ making round plates using a potter's wheel ▲ making dessert plates and teacups ▲ making plates using colored paper ▲ making baby food tableware sets ▲ making hand-painted couple cups, among others.
Participants in the pottery experience program said, "The pottery program was especially good because it provided mental and physical stability and allowed us to share information about pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare with other pregnant women of similar age," adding, "We are grateful that Naju City operates such a good program for pregnant women."
Son Minsik, Director of Health Administration, said, "This program will help pregnant women achieve psychological stability and relieve anxiety about childbirth," and added, "We plan to expand various programs in the second half of the year, including prenatal yoga and healing time through forest experiences."

Meanwhile, Naju City is operating various pregnancy and childbirth support policies such as pre-examinations for women of childbearing age, support for infertility diagnosis and examination fees, and housekeeping care services for pregnant women.
