Two-Year Term Until 2026
Lee Eun-mi was officially appointed as CEO of Toss Bank on the 28th. CEO Lee expressed her commitment to achieving the first annual profit this year and securing customer trust as a bank with 10 million customers. Her term will last for two years, from this day until March 31, 2026.
Toss Bank held its regular shareholders' meeting and board of directors meeting on the same day and approved the appointment of CEO Lee. The Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee unanimously recommended Lee as the next CEO candidate last month.
Immediately after her appointment, CEO Lee held a town hall meeting with employees to share her future vision. She stated, “We will continue to provide customers with new banking experiences by carrying on Toss Bank’s innovative DNA,” adding, “We will prove this through innovative products and services.”
She emphasized, “We will make 2024 the inaugural year of achieving the first annual profit and, at the same time, strengthen financial stability and risk management capabilities to enhance customer trust as a bank with 10 million customers, thereby ensuring the sustainability of growth.”
CEO Lee previously served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Head of the Management Planning Group at DGB Daegu Bank.
