Soccer, Taekwondo, Bowling, Yachting, Shooting?Busan Dongmyeong University, a prestigious sports school, has been making headlines across various sports disciplines, including winning the national soccer championship just two months after its founding and establishing a Taekwondo team.

Jung Woo-jun and Choi Beom-jun, who won the silver medal in the men's college doubles category at the Korea Bowling Association President's Cup National Men's and Women's Championships.

The Dongmyeong University Bowling Team (coaches Lee Seung-young, Shin Jung-hoon) rookies recently won the silver medal in the men's college doubles category at the 42nd Korea Bowling Association President's Cup National Men and Women’s Championships.

Sports Rehabilitation majors Jung Woo-jun and Choi Beom-jun (advising professor Bang Hyun-seok) earned the silver medal in the men's college doubles event at the 42nd Korea Bowling Association President's Cup National Men and Women’s Championships held until the 28th at the Bowling Park Bowling Arena in Wonju, Gangwon Province.

Dongmyeong University has firmly established itself as a prestigious sports institution by emphasizing ‘Chedeokji’ (Physical Virtue Wisdom) rather than ‘Jideokche’ (Wisdom Virtue Physical), focusing on nurturing Do-ing talents through challenge, experience, and practice.

Recently, just two months after its founding, the university surprised the nation by winning the 60th University Soccer Federation Hansan Battle Cup.

K-sports Taekwondo Department freshmen Kwon Do-young, Kim Hye-won, and Cha Yoo-jin placed third (bronze medal) in the college division Poomsae pair event at the 23rd Ministry of Gender Equality and Family National Taekwondo Competition held until March 10. On March 27, the university officially established its Taekwondo team.

At the 21st National Yachting Competition and National Team Selection, held until March 25 and hosted by the Korea Coast Guard, the team won silver and bronze medals (Im Seong-jun won silver in the Formula Kite men’s college general division, and Son Gwang-hee won bronze in the ILCA7 men’s college division).
