On the 28th at around 2:13 PM, Secretary General Kim appeared at the Mapo Police Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul, to undergo an investigation as a complainant, saying, "Government policies are planned with a view to the future, and their success depends on the doctors in the field," and criticized the KMA by asking, "Can you guarantee that increasing the number of doctors will have no effect even 20 years from now?"
He further pointed out the failure of the KMA and the government to reach a compromise, stating, "Regarding the current medical school expansion issue, the National Assembly has become invisible and is failing to properly serve as a bridge to resolve conflicts between the government and the medical community."
Earlier, Seominwi filed a complaint against President-elect Lim on the 29th of last month for false accusation and defamation. Prior to that, on the 22nd of last month, President Lim filed a complaint with the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office against Secretary General Kim for false accusation.
At that time, President Lim criticized Seominwi, saying, "Seominwi is an organization that files complaints whenever there is a social issue and people who enjoy filing complaints," referring to Seominwi’s complaint filed on the 21st of last month against Kim Taek-woo, Chairman of the KMA Emergency Committee, and Park Dan, President of the Korean Intern Resident Association (Daejeonhyeop), at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Seominwi later withdrew the complaints against Chairman Kim and President Park.
