The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA, Director Kim Seong-hee) announced on the 26th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Seoul Arts Center (President Jang Hyung-jun) to expand the public's cultural enjoyment rights.

At the signing ceremony held at the MMCA Seoul, the two institutions agreed on △ joint development of programs for excellent cultural and artistic services △ mutual cooperation to improve customer service △ mutual exchange of cultural projects hosted by both institutions.
The MMCA, the only national art museum in Korea, and the Seoul Arts Center, the country's leading complex cultural and artistic space, will closely cooperate to increase interest in the field of fine arts and expand opportunities for the public to enjoy culture through active institutional exchanges.
In particular, in line with the purpose of leading innovation in membership services at national cultural and artistic institutions, the two institutions will offer △ membership annual fee discounts △ free admission invitations to exhibitions and performances for paid members △ joint hosting of cultural events for invited customers.
Kim Seong-hee, Director of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, said, “This partnership is an agreement between Korea's leading art institutions and will be a great opportunity for more people to enjoy diverse cultural lives,” adding, “Through exchanges and cooperation between the two institutions, we hope more people will feel closer to the museum and enjoy various contemporary artworks.”
