Kakao Games has appointed Han Sang-woo as an inside director.
On the 28th, Kakao Games held its regular shareholders' meeting and passed the agenda to appoint CEO Han Sang-woo as an inside director. Han Sang-woo will carry out his duties as CEO following a board resolution.
At this shareholders' meeting, all seven agenda items were approved, including the approval of the 11th financial statements, partial amendments to the articles of incorporation, the appointment of directors, and the appointment of outside directors to the audit committee.
A Kakao Games official stated, "CEO Han Sang-woo has led Kakao Games' growth and global expansion based on his deep understanding of the gaming market and global business, as well as his extensive experience. Moving forward, he will focus on establishing a foundation for Kakao Games to gain competitiveness and take a leap forward in domestic and international markets."
