Seo-gu received applications from 155 complexes from February 1 to 29 and determined the support targets and amounts through the Seo-gu Apartment Housing Support Review Committee.
The support project for repairing aging common facilities in apartment housing targets aging apartment complexes and supports repairs of common facilities such as senior centers, children's playgrounds, CCTV, bicycle racks, and resident exercise facilities. From 2013 to last year, a total of 175 complexes received 1.65 billion KRW over 11 years.
In particular, the support project for electricity bills of streetlights (security lights) in apartment housing is a key initiative promoted for the first time by Daejeon City under the 8th elected administration. It supports apartment complexes with 10 or more households that receive separate streetlight bills, covering up to 50% of the previous year's streetlight electricity charges.
Seo Cheol-mo, the district mayor, said, “I hope the apartment housing management support projects will contribute to reducing management fees and improving residential living spaces to be safer and more comfortable.”
