Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the facelifted Tucson and Santa Cruz, featuring enhanced design and convenience features, for the first time in North America at the New York Auto Show.
On the 27th (local time), Hyundai revealed the Tucson for the first time in North America at the '2024 New York International Auto Show' held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York, USA, announcing its official launch. The Tucson is a facelifted new model that Hyundai is introducing to the North American market for the first time in three years. A Hyundai official stated, "We have secured product competitiveness that meets customer expectations with a highly refined design and various convenience features."
Hyundai implemented a strong and dynamic exterior design and an interior design that combines luxury and practicality in the new Tucson. The sporty image is emphasized with the XRT model and the N Line model offered together. Additionally, advanced driving technologies were applied and noise reduction was enhanced to improve driving comfort. Side airbags were added to the second row, and overall collision safety performance was improved through body reinforcement.

Hyundai offers the facelifted Tucson widely across hybrid (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and internal combustion engine options. The HEV and PHEV models feature the advanced hybrid system 'E-Motion Drive,' which utilizes the drive motor to enhance driving performance and ride comfort.
Meanwhile, at this New York Auto Show, Hyundai also unveiled the product-improved model of the North America-exclusive pickup truck Santa Cruz for the first time worldwide. This facelifted Santa Cruz is the first product-improved model revealed since Hyundai launched it in the North American market in 2021. With sophisticated design and various advanced convenience features applied, its product competitiveness has been significantly enhanced.
