A naval non-commissioned officer (NCO) fell into the sea and died during shooting training while riding a high-speed boat in the East Sea.

On the 27th, the Navy announced that NCO A, who was participating in training involving two high-speed boats in the East Sea, fell into the sea and died.

A fell into the sea during training and, despite being rescued and receiving emergency treatment on site before being transported to a nearby hospital, passed away.

The Navy is investigating the cause of the accident and stated that it will proceed with follow-up measures, giving the highest honors to the officer who died during training.
