Alumni of Dong-Eui University College of Future Convergence and Graduate School of Real Estate Donate Over 100 Million Won in Development Funds

Delivered for University and Department Development, Baseball Team Support

Current students and alumni of the College of Future Convergence and the Graduate School of Real Estate at Dong-Eui University donated over 100 million KRW to the university development fund for the advancement of the university and its departments.

Dong-Eui University Graduate School of Real Estate and Future Convergence College Alumni Group Donated Over 100 Million Won to University Development Fund,

Dong-Eui University (President Han Suhwan) held a donation ceremony on the 26th in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the main building. Alumni representatives including Jin Sunjeong from the Department of Real Estate Finance and Asset Management in the College of Future Convergence, Kang Taesu, president of the Graduate School of Real Estate master’s program student council, and Ryu Geunok from the executive program attended and presented the university development fund to President Han Suhwan.

The amount donated was 28.3 million KRW from the 5th graduating class of the Department of Real Estate Finance and Asset Management, 55 million KRW from the 5th graduating class of the Graduate School of Real Estate master’s program, and 5 million KRW from the 6th graduating class of the Graduate School of Real Estate executive program. Alumni and current students contributed collectively, totaling 101.3 million KRW.

Alumna Jin Sujeong from the Department of Real Estate Finance and Asset Management said, “Many people united their intentions to wish for the infinite development of the newly launched College of Future Convergence through the lifelong education system support project by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education,” and encouraged juniors by saying, “Since this is a late start in studies, I hope you do your best without regrets.”

Notably, 12 million KRW of the donation was designated to support the baseball team, which has promoted Dong-Eui University widely through appearances on JTBC’s Strongest Baseball program and won a silver medal at last year’s 104th National Sports Festival. This support will be used for baseball equipment and other needs in the future.

The Department of Real Estate Finance and Asset Management in the College of Future Convergence and the Graduate School of Real Estate have been delivering university development funds annually since 2019 to provide scholarships and improve the educational environment for juniors, donating a total of 550 million KRW to date.

Kang Jeonggyu, dean of the College of Future Convergence and head of the Graduate School of Real Estate, said, “We are very grateful for the voluntary support of graduates for the development of the school and departments,” and added, “Based on the support of our seniors, we will provide the best education and make our graduate school and departments the best in the real estate field nationwide.”
