Changwon National University "Visit Cheongunji, the Cherry Blossom Spot!" ... 8-Day Cherry Blossom Festival

A festival will be held at Cheongunji, a cherry blossom hotspot at the National Changwon University, from the 27th to April 3rd.

The Changwon University ‘2024 Cheongunji Cherry Blossom Festival’ will take place at the Cheongunji pond in front of the student dormitory under the theme ‘A Night Where Cherry Blossoms Shine’.

Changwon University operates a safety support system with a safety guidance team of about 20 staff members, local fire department, and police in cooperation to ensure festival safety, and controls traffic including vehicle passage around the festival venue.

A student in charge of the event said, “We will do our best to make this a representative local festival centered on students and in cooperation with the local community,” adding, “We hope that all university members and local residents will create happy and enjoyable memories at Cheongunji, which is recognized as a local cherry blossom hotspot.”
