Candidate Yang Seung-jo: "Even if my bones go to my ancestral grave, my politics will end in Hongseong and Yesan"

Presenting a Regional Blueprint... "We Will Surely Complete the Work Planned and Finalized Together with the Residents"

Yang Seung-jo, the Democratic Party of Korea candidate for the National Assembly representing Hongseong-gun and Yesan-gun, unveiled a blueprint for the Hongseong and Yesan constituencies by highlighting his achievements during his tenure as Governor of Chungcheongnam-do.

At a press conference held at the Chungnam Provincial Government Office, candidate Yang stated, "While serving as Governor of Chungcheongnam-do, I accomplished the designation of an innovation city, the direct connection of the Seohae Line and Gyeongbu High-Speed Railway, and the confirmation of the establishment of Sapgyo Station," adding, "I will ensure the completion of the plans we have made and confirmed together with the residents."

He continued, "If I become a five-term National Assembly member, more can be achieved in the region," promising, "I will make Hongseong and Yesan the central cities of the West Coast era."

For Hongseong-gun, candidate Yang proposed △restoration of Hongju Eupseong △enactment of a law to establish a Senior Welfare Agency △early commencement of the Naepo Future New Industry National Industrial Complex △promotion of advanced livestock industry △and the establishment of Hongseong Fisheries Cooperative.

For Yesan-gun, he promised △reflection of the Central Region East-West Transversal Railway and Chungcheong Inland Railway in the national railway network plan △undergrounding of power lines in Sapgyo-eup △maintenance of the Yedang Lake tourism belt △and support for the construction of an agricultural products comprehensive terminal.

For Naepo New Town, he pledged △support for the early construction of the Naepo New Town public terminal △attraction of public institutions located in the metropolitan area △achievement of a population of 100,000 in Naepo New Town △and establishment of a medical school and university hospital at the National Gongju University.

Regarding recent opinion polls that have entered the margin of error, he said, "I believe this is thanks to the evaluation of the provincial government’s achievements," adding, "I hope to steadily rise until the election and will gain public support by presenting a future blueprint based on the provincial government’s accomplishments."

On the controversy over President Yoon Seok-yeol’s remark about 'radish priced at 875 won,' he stated, "The President is dividing the people and inciting confrontation," urging, "Please refrain from angering the public and implement policies that align with the people's will."

Candidate Yang emphasized, "Please remember the slogan 'Start with Yang Seung-jo, complete with Yang Seung-jo,'" and added, "Even if my bones are laid to rest elsewhere in the future, I will complete my remaining political work in Hongseong and Yesan."
