American Rapper Who Sang 'I'll Be Missing You' Caught in Massive Sexual Crime Scandal

Department of Homeland Security Raids Puff Daddy's Home
Entangled in Lawsuits Over Sexual Harassment and Assault
Attorney Denies Claims as "Nonsense"

Puff Daddy (54, real name Sean Diddy Combs), a heavyweight in the American hip-hop scene, is facing growing controversy over allegations of various sexual crimes, including male sexual harassment, female sexual assault, and prostitution, spanning several years. Although he currently goes by the stage name 'Diddy,' he is widely known as Puff Daddy both domestically and internationally.

On the 25th (local time), according to a compilation of foreign media reports, agents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) raided two buildings owned by Puff Daddy, located in Los Angeles (LA) and Miami, respectively.

Puff Daddy is an American rapper and producer, as well as the founder of 'Bad Boy Records,' one of the largest hip-hop labels in the U.S. The label was home to Biggie, who sparked the hip-hop boom in the 20th century, and Puff Daddy is regarded as a major figure who contributed to the growth of hip-hop culture. Notably, he gained significant popularity in Korea with the song "I'll Be Missing You," which sampled the famous band The Police's "Every Breath You Take" to commemorate the death of singer Biggie.

Regarding the mansion raids, an HSI spokesperson explained, "This is part of an ongoing investigation conducted with the support of HSI Los Angeles, Miami, and local authorities," adding, "Law enforcement actions were executed." It was reported that Puff Daddy was not at home during the raids. Helicopters were seen flying over his properties, and agents were observed entering the house and removing evidence.

HSI did not disclose specific details of the investigation or mention any charges against Puff Daddy. However, local media suggest that the raids are likely related to several recent lawsuits involving Puff Daddy. He is currently being sued on charges related to sexual abuse, prostitution, and human trafficking violations.

R&B singer Keshia Benta, a prot?g? and former lover of Puff Daddy, filed a sexual assault lawsuit against him last November. In the submitted complaint, Benta alleged that "(Puff Daddy) forced male sex workers to engage in sexual acts and recorded the scenes." However, the lawsuit was settled within a day. At the time, Puff Daddy's side stated that the case was closed under a confidentiality agreement, emphasizing, "This settlement does not constitute an admission of guilt."

Nevertheless, Puff Daddy has since been embroiled in multiple lawsuits. There have been allegations of his involvement in gang rape targeting teenage minors. Puff Daddy currently denies all related charges. Sean Holley, Puff Daddy's attorney, warned, "We have overwhelming and definitive evidence proving these allegations are false," and added, "We will take appropriate action against those making such bizarre claims."
