Daedong Mobility-LG Energy Solution Kuru-Manna-Barogo-Burung Collaboration
Five companies, including Daedong Mobility, have formed an alliance to expand the supply of electric two-wheelers in Seoul. Daedong Mobility announced on the 27th that a consortium of five companies, including LG Energy Solution's KooRoo, delivery agency Mannacorporation, Barogo, and Vroong, was formed to promote the supply of electric two-wheelers and BSS (Battery Swap Stations) in Seoul, signing an 'ESG (Eco Seoul Green)' business agreement.
The five companies agreed to collaborate to promote the use and purchase of electric two-wheelers by delivery riders by ▲reducing the burden of product purchase and rental costs ▲expanding the supply of BSS in Seoul ▲proving the performance of electric two-wheelers through actual operation by multiple riders. Through this, they plan to rapidly supply eco-friendly electric two-wheelers and BSS centered in Seoul and alleviate citizens' inconveniences caused by air pollution and noise from internal combustion engine two-wheelers.

Based on this MOU, Daedong Mobility and LG Energy Solution’s in-house independent company KooRoo will jointly run a promotion offering up to 1.5 million KRW discount and benefits when purchasing the Daedong Mobility electric two-wheeler GS100. The promotion is limited to the first 300 GS100 units sold. According to the agreement, Daedong Mobility will operate channels to provide related services such as electric two-wheeler sales, repair, and maintenance.
LG Energy Solution’s KooRoo will build infrastructure centered in Seoul and provide stable services to activate the BSS service, enhancing convenience for electric two-wheeler users. The three major delivery agencies Mannacorporation, Barogo, and Vroong will promote electric two-wheelers to delivery riders and offer various promotions such as delivery incentives.
Kwon Ki-jae, Vice President of Management at Daedong Mobility, said, “Through this business agreement, we aim to address environmental issues such as carbon emissions and air pollution and provide a futuristic solution that also alleviates citizens’ inconveniences caused by exhaust fumes and noise.” He added, “We will lead the electric two-wheeler market and continue sustainable growth through cooperation with leading companies in various fields.”
